These trays are ideal for microgreen growing. A shallow depth allows for a lower amount of subtrate needed. A grower has the option to use a perforated tray and insert into a non-perforated tray to collect excess water - bottom watering can also be achieved once roots have pushed through. Alternatively, use just the perforated tray and let water drip out onto ground or other trays below.
Directions for use
Add substrate (Coco peat, Rockwool pad or Soil).
Ensure substrate is moist by spraying water.
Gently scatter seeds evenly onto substrate.
Cover seeds with a board (You can also apply a weighted object to strengthen stems).
Allow majority/all seeds to germinate.
Remove board and expose to natural light (Not direct sun) until ready to harvest.
