North Island, Seychelles – With limited arable land and scarce water resources, the Seychelles faces significant challenges in sustainable agriculture. In response to these challenges, Urban Organics has introduced cutting-edge hydroponic technology to the North Island, offering an innovative and environmentally friendly solution to food production.

Our hydroponic systems provide a highly efficient way to grow fresh produce without the need for traditional soil-based farming. By using significantly less water than conventional methods, and completely eliminating the need for pesticides, this technology conserves resources while ensuring higher yields of nutritious crops.

 Tackling Local Challenges with Innovative Solutions

The logistical and environmental challenges of farming on the North Island, such as harsh weather conditions and limited fertile land, have long restricted the capacity for local food production. However, Urban Organics' hydroponic systems are specifically designed to overcome these barriers. Our system is engineered to endure the island’s harsh conditions while providing a consistent and reliable method for producing fresh, nutritious produce year-round.

In addition to the installation, our team spent several days training local farmers and technicians on how to operate and maintain the system. This hands-on approach ensures that the local community can sustainably manage the technology moving forward, empowering them to produce food independently and reduce reliance on imported goods.
