WHAT IS HYDROPONICS?
When most people think of hydroponics, they think of plants grown with their roots suspended directly into water with no growing medium. This is just one type of hydroponic gardening known as N.F.T. (nutrient film technique). There are several variations of N.F.T. used around the world and it is a very popular method of growing hydroponically. What most people don’t realise is that there are countless methods and variations of hydroponic gardening. In this section, we explain the most common, including the pros and cons of each along with an abundance of general information about hydroponics
OUR PRODUCT RANGE
After many months of Research & Development we have come up with a simple, cost effective range of systems that are functional, ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing. The systems are compact with a small footprint, ideal for the Domestic and Catering markets. All systems can be scaled up to suit almost any urban need. Our objective is to see all households with a system installed that is water wise, educational and fun to grow.

HYDROPONIC BASED SYSTEMS
The Hydroponic system is identical to the Soil Based option but uses just nutrient water in its tubes to feed the plants. Each cut-out is equipped with a growing net pot with a sealing rubber grommet and a neoprene collar to support the seedling and stabilise the stem in the absence of soil.
AQUAPONICS BASED SYSTEMS - COMING SOON!
An aquaponics system combines hydroponics with aquaculture in a recirculating system, mimicking many of nature’s natural cycles.
OUR SCHOOL PROGRAMME
We approached a few large companies to see if they would assist in sponsoring a School or two with the installation and setup of an educational hydroponic system to teach our younger generation about the need to conserve water and to be aware of future food security and have fun at the same time.
The hydroponic systems and the simple methodology amazes both adults and youngsters alike. We were inspired by the interest shown by everybody that has had the opportunity to see how this technology can grow, feed and sustain a family with so much edible plants from such a compact system.
